TERMS & CONDITIONS

Terms and Conditions enclosed herein must be agreed to before advertising any RBC Telecom number.

These Terms and Conditions are strictly enforced by RBC Telecom.  Failure to comply with any condition will result in a forfeiture of all monies owed and may risk criminal prosecution .

The following terms and conditions are common sense ethics or laws pertaining to the Pay Per Call Industry. We suggest that all current and prospective clients visit the FTC ( Federal Trade Commission ) web pages regarding the laws pertaining to this industry before advertising one of our numbers.

Terms and conditions include but are not limited to:

ADVERTISING ETHICS:

1. Cost Disclosures: All advertisements of any RBC Telecom number must include full cost disclosure. 

Examples:
1-800 Numbers: Prices Start at $2.95 Per Minute
All 011 International and Caribbean Numbers: International Long Distance Rates Apply

2. Age Restrictions: No client may target an audience below the age of 18 years.

3. Telephone Dialing Equipment: Any client of RBC Telecom's caught using Electronic Dialing Equipment to either solicit callers, or to generate minutes on their assigned numbers will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

CONTENT ETHICS:

1. Criminal Activity: All routed numbers supplied RBC Telecom must not offer deceptive or criminal content as determined by RBC Telecom, any Local, State, Federal, or International Law Enforcement Agency, nor may they be advertised using illegal advertising methods such as UCE in cities, states, or countries with laws against such advertising.

2. Custom Numbers: All custom numbers may be subject to set up fees and will be strictly screened by RBC Telecom and the Carrier in which we place the custom line with. 

3. Suspicious Activity: Any number which produces high volumes of suspicious activity may be subject to investigation by RBC Telecom and the carrier.  In such cases all payables for that number will be immediately frozen until such a time as an investigation into the traffic generated is completed by both parties.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

As the Webs Largest Service Bureau, RBC Telecom is committed to eliminating fraud in the pay-per-call industry.  We will not tolerate deceptive practices by our clients. 

As a client of RBC Telecom you must understand and agree that RBC Telecom will voluntarily surrender any clients information to the Federal Trade Commission or any recognized and confirmed Law Enforcement Agency that requests client data for a criminal investigation.

If you are a new client wanting to try what you feel is new and exciting idea for, or are simply not certain as to the legalities of what you would like to offer through a per-per-call number, then please visit the Federal Trade Commissions Web Site and educate yourself on the legalities of the industry, or contact a RBC Telecom Representative and they will be happy to give you the information that you need to keep you within the boundaries of the law.
